What is Working on Wellbeing (WoW)?
WoW is a pre-employment project for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions who are beginning their journey into employment. Working in groups or individual sessions, an individual will receive tailored support from a dedicated Employment Advisor (EA) covering for example the following areas:
- Providing 1:1 support
- Encouraging conversations about disability in the workplace
- Creating and adapting CVs
- Bespoke opportunity searches
- In-work support
We are able to signpost both individuals and organisations to our partners and other similar organisations for information around disability and health conditions.
We can also support individuals who participate on the project with in-work job support and guidance on applying for Access to Work support (if applicable).
